I hired Tara originally for her outstanding photography in challenging/remote environments around the world. Tara worked closely with the communications team on the USAID/Iraq Durable Communities and Economic Opportunities project. She really helped to build the capacity of our team to develop compelling social media content, including videos that conveyed the human impact of project activities. Recently, our team at the International Rescue Committee, had the privilege of working with award-winning storytelling consultant, Tara! Through workshops and one-on-one sessions coaching us on how to effectively tell an impactful story, our team members were able to take their ideas on how to tell our project’s story on Early Childhood Development in the Syrian Crisis Response region through their eyes to the next level, building up our portfolio of communication materials for a wide variety of audiences and contexts. Recognizing the power of our work wasn't being shared and amplified enough, our project at the International Rescue Committee's Ahlan Simsim program recognized a need to bolster our team members' skills around compelling storytelling including visual and other creative elements.
